Fancy getting active outside while giving something back to beautiful green spaces across The Outdoor City?
Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust run monthly practical conservation work days across their nature reserves and need lots of hands to get stuck in.
This will be a regular volunteer work day – come along for a whole day, or join in for an hour or so!
The day will feature practical hands-on conservation work. Tasks will vary from footpath improvements and access work, to habitat and vegetation management. All volunteer work days start at 10am and finish at 3pm- make sure you are at the meeting point by 10 am or you might get lost!
Gloves, tools, and refreshments are provided, but please wear suitable rough outdoor clothing, including waterproofs, hat, trousers and long sleeves and sturdy footwear, and bring some lunch and water.
Free but places must be booked.
