No, not that Ludwig! Ludwig Spohr’s nonet is a really attractive piece of chamber music for the unusual combination of wind quintet and 4 string players. The Steel City 5 have teamed up with some of the region’s finest string players to bring you this neglected masterpiece. It is crammed full of great tunes and Spohr has lots of fun playing with the various possible instrumental combinations.
