A major event in the UK’s running calendar, Sheffield Half Marathon is one of the best attended Half Marathons in the country, attracting thousands of runners of all abilities to the city’s streets each year and raising many thousands of pounds for great causes.
It's also one of the most scenic- with a route that starts and finishes in the city centre, but takes runners all the way out to the boundary of the Peak District National Park (so yes, it’s hilly!), and back again.
The race even incorporates a 'triple test' giving entrants a chance to be crowned Peaks Challenge winners in a timed Outdoor City hill climb, triumph in a timed 10K downhill sprint section and cross the finish line first to lift the Sheffield Half Marathon title.
The event attracts many spectators along the route too, so whether you’re running or spectating you can expect a fantastic atmosphere.
For more info and to enter, visit the Run For All website.
Free for spectators.
All entrants are encouraged to fund-raise for the charity of their choice.
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day.
A vast army of eager and hard-working volunteers also contribute to help ensure that the event lives long in the memory.
This really is an event of which the whole of Yorkshire can be proud. So don't miss it!
