The 2025 Bradfield Festival of music is 7 concerts of the finest international and local artists performing today.
Artists returning to the festival this year include Linos Piano Trio, who had the ability to transcend mere exquisite performance and reveal music directly to the emotions.
The festival also has the internationally renowned baritone Roderick Williams with classical pianist Christopher Glynn; Bliss in Bradfield: Mark Bebbington - piano, Rebeca Omordia - piano and Chu-Yu Yang - violin Part of the “50 for 50” concert series coordinated by the Arthur Bliss Society; Nikolaas Kende and Jolente De Maeyer, an award-winning piano and violin duo from Europe; Marmen Quartet, who'll commemorate Ravel’s 150 Anniversary year with a performance of his popular string music. And the Symphonic Brass of London will draw the Festival to a spectacular close with classics from Handel to Lennon and McCartney.
The festival opens with the Abbeydale Singers, one of the most prestigious Sheffield-based choirs.
Standard tickets are from £16 to £25. Under 25's tickets are £10.
Established for over 25 years, the award winning Bradfield Festival of Music is an annual, week-long celebration of classical music held in the last week of June. The Festival attracts the finest artists from all over the world, who perform a wide range of music genres, broadly within the classical tradition.
All concerts are held in the historic, Grade I listed Parish Church of St Nicholas, High Bradfield, Sheffield, South Yorkshire with its particularly fine acoustics and beautiful views over the undulating landscapes of the Peak District National Park.
