Ringinglow Archery & Target Sports Centre

Ringinglow Archery & Target Sports Centre overlooks the picturesque Mayfield Valley in South West Sheffield, close to the border of the Peak District National Park.  They offer a range of fun and exciting target sports including archery, crossbow shooting, air rifle shooting, air pistol shooting, axe throwing, knife throwing and catapults.

Rother Valley Golf Centre

Rother Valley Golf Centre is ideally located next to Rother Valley Country Park on the border between South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. The M1 and M18 motorways help provide easy and convenient access from the nearby towns/cities of Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham and Doncaster.

Sheffield Cable Waterski and Aqua Park

The Inflatable Aqua Park assault course at Rother Valley, is one of the biggest in the UK and is great fun for all ages from 8 years. Wipe out on the inflatable walkways and bones, jump from the climbing wall, bounce on the trampolines and get fired up into the air from the Blast Bag!

South Yorkshire Sailing Club

South Yorkshire Sailing Club are based at Underbank Reservoir, Stocksbridge, in the north of Sheffield. The reservoir provides around 80 acres of sailing area. Sailing on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. New members are always welcome.

The Foundry Climbing Centre

The Foundry Climbing Centre in Sheffield was the UK's first dedicated indoor climbing centre. Opened in 1991 it was designed, by climbers, to suit everyone from beginner to expert. It offers walls up to 13m high and lead/top rope climbs with 150 routes and bouldering. Full instruction available and open to any competent climber. Walls suited to beginners through to advanced.

Wortley Golf Club

Wortley Golf Club is a picturesque parkland course set in the tranquil, natural woodland surrounds of the historic Wharncliffe Estate. The Climbing Hangar

Depot Climbing Centre

Depot Climbing Sheffield is one of the biggest bouldering centres in the UK, situated just off the Parkway, close to the city centre. Bouldering is a form of climbing that involves climbing short routes over safety matts below, making it the most accessible form of rock climbing.

Mountain biking

Head straight out to the UK’s only inner-city mountain bike trail at Parkwood Springs, take in some big views and berms at Lady Cannings Plantation or venture north to Sheffield's Greno Woods for some technical trails through the trees.
