Ecclesall Woods

Ecclesall Woods is an ancient woodland in south-west Sheffield, between Abbeydale Road South and Ecclesall. The largest ancient woodland in South Yorkshire, it covers approximately 350 acres of mature semi-natural deciduous woodland, and is home to The J.G Graves Woodland Discovery Centre along with a small café.

Stoneface Creative Ltd

The Stoneface Creative Woodland Gallery is Sheffields very own sculpture park. This one of a kind gallery showcases a wide variety of sculpture by well known Sheffield artist Andrew Vickers. 

Dovestone Tor

High on Derwent Edge, Dovestone Tor has a wilder feel than most crags in the area. The longer walk in, and the fact that the sharp, gritty rock can sometimes be green, mean that it’s rarely busy up here – a perfect place to escape the crowds on a dry, sunny day.

The Head of Steam

St Mars of the Desert

The Brewery of Saint Mars of the Desert was inspired by the earliest “craft breweries” of Europe: that first generation making beers in disused 19th century breweries with a pioneering spirit, unmoving passion and an almost avant-garde creativity. They relocated from Boston, Massachusetts to the city of Sheffield to make this dream a reality and haven’t looked back once.
