Kicking off the outdoor season with a bang! Each March, Festival of the Outdoors offers a full month of events and activities celebrating Sheffield's great outdoors and communities. With a really wide variety of events there's something for everyone!
Hosted by the Children's University each year, the Festival of Fun offers a huge programme of activities and workshops for children across Sheffield to get involved with throughout the summer school holidays.
Taking place over ten days each September, the festival celebrates all sides of Sheffield with a whole host of enjoyable walks of varying lengths, with plenty to see and discover along the way. This year the festival will take place 6 - 15 September 2024.
Liam has been embedded into the musical fabric of Sheffield since he arrived in the city in 1991.

Music in the Round and Ensemble 360 host an annual Festival each May in the Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse and other venues around the city to present informal and inventive performances of classical and modern classical music.
Now into its 6th year, Get Together festival returns to Kelham Island and Neepsend for another massive music takeover on Saturday 16 May.
Street-scene improvements have proven to be immensely popular as part of ERF delivery. These enhancements range from practical additions like bins, benches, and planters to transformative elements such as parklets, shopfront upgrades, and even a green living wall - all funded through ERF support.

Distort Sheffield and The Lughole proudly announce the 6th annual Noise Annoys Festival! On the 22nd - 24th of May 2026, they’re once again bringing outrageously ripping punk and hardcore bands from around the globe to the city of Sheffield.
