Grenoside Equestrian Centre

Grenoside Equestrian Centre have a large collection of beautifully cared-for horses and ponies. A dedicated team with combined decades of teaching and horse-care experience with both adults and children. A support team of part and full time grooms and stable hands keep the wheels turning of this friendly, quality riding stables.

Parson House Outdoor Pursuits Centre

Parson House Outdoor Pursuit Centre is dedicated to providing a safe environment for outdoor activities to take place in. Their instructors are fully qualified and have a combined excellence in a number of outdoor activities with a great amount of practical experience in each of them. The outdoors can be dangerous, which is part of the attraction, so safety aspects are always emphasised.

The Climbing Works

The Climbing Works is a bouldering centre spread over three buildings that provides climbing opportunities for young and old, beginner to elite, in a World-class facility.

Pieminister

Located in the heart of the city on Division Street, Pieminister is the place to go for award-winning pies in Sheffield. The pies are made with ethically sourced ingredients such as free-range British meat and artisan cheeses. There’s also plenty of pie choice for vegetarians and vegans -  and for those on a gluten-free diet there’s a dedicated GF menu starring three delicious gluten-free pies. There’s a fun menu for kids too, so there's something for the whole family.

The Foundry Climbing Centre

The Foundry Climbing Centre in Sheffield was the UK's first dedicated indoor climbing centre. Opened in 1991 it was designed, by climbers, to suit everyone from beginner to expert. It offers walls up to 13m high and lead/top rope climbs with 150 routes and bouldering. Full instruction available and open to any competent climber. Walls suited to beginners through to advanced.

Low Carbon - Sheffield Mencap & Gateway

With support from the Low Carbon Community and Culture Project, Sheffield Mencap and Gateway received a £20,000 grant to upgrade their heating system with new radiators and a new boiler and upgrade to energy efficient LED lighting.
