A Sheffield based entrepreneur who brought a vision of Vietnam to the city is thriving after securing financial and business support from two City Region initiatives designed to support new and existing entrepreneurs. 

Ella Bradley - Sheffield Hallam University graduate

While studying at Sheffield Hallam, Ella won a competition ran by the University's marketing society to pitch a PR campaign to creative agency, Rise at Seven who have their headquarters here in Sheffield. This helped her secure a graduate role as a junior social media executive at the agency.

The Sheffield Property Association

Established in 2017, the Sheffield Property Association is an independent association of significant land owning and development businesses in the city of Sheffield, who along with a wide range of professional organisations, are helping create and support the continued improvement of the city’s built environment. The Association’s members represent over 20,000 jobs and £4bn in assets.

Ruth McDonald - Race Equality Lead

Ruth McDonald works with Business Sheffield to support entrepreneurs from Sheffield’s diverse communities to develop their ideas and turn side hustles into sustainable businesses. She works closely with communities across the city, helping people build confidence, access the right support and connect with skilled advisers who can help move their ideas forward.
