Sheffield longlisted for UK City of Culture 2029

Sheffield is celebrating after being named on the longlist to become UK City of Culture 2029 – important recognition of the city’s ambition to showcase its creativity, talent and identity on a national and international stage.

Sheffield ranks 7th most popular English city for international conferences

Sheffield has ranked joint 7th most popular English city for international association conferences in the International Congress and Convention Association’s (ICCA) annual Country and City Rankings, and 12th in the list of UK cities.
