Sheffield City Council secures new funding to unlock £150 million of private sector investment
Planning applications were submitted by the developer Urbo at the beginning of March for 368 high quality apartments, 100,000 sq ft of grade A offices and two new attractive public squares.
Tour of Britain 2024
South Yorkshire will host stage three of the men’s race which attracts top international cyclists, including Olympic and Tour de France champions. The stage will begin in Sheffield, the first time the race has visited the city in 20 years and will then head through Rotherham and Doncaster before finishing in Barnsley.

Mountain biking
