Sheffield Chamber Music Festival

Music in the Round and Ensemble 360 host an annual Festival each May in the Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse and other venues around the city to present informal and inventive performances of classical and modern classical music.

UBI

A Universal Basic Income, or UBI Lab is a citizen-led group exploring and advocating for Universal Basic Income. What many people don't know - even if they might have heard about UBI as a concept - is that it is borne out of Sheffield and facilitated by the social enterprise Opus.

Music in the Round’s Singer-in-Residence Roderick Williams returns with a programme of heartrendingly beautiful English song, including Vaughan Williams’ glorious cycle Songs of Travel.

Elgar Piano Quintet

No stranger to Sheffield audiences, pianist Martin Roscoe was a frequent collaborator with the Lindsay String Quartet, founders of Music in the Round. Here he joins forces with another titanic quartet, the prolific Brodskys, who have been performing for over half a century to prizes and plaudits around the world.

Mozart and Friends

Celebrate Mozart and his lively circle of friends with Ensemble 360 in a delightful evening of music for winds and strings, including two works showcasing the unworldly sound of the glass harmonica.
