Sheffield ranked as No.1 City in the UK to start a business

An annual ranking of the Top 25 Cities in the UK (outside of London) for starting a business, the Startups Cities Index is the most exhaustive research project of its kind. Sheffield was revealed as the ultimate winner, thanks to the city’s strong performance across business support, talent attraction, low cost of living, large working population and fantastic transport links.

Graves Park Country Show

Graves Park Country Show is a FREE entry family event with lots of animals on show, stalls, kids activities and fairground rides, it'll be another great family day out on Monday 4 May.

Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust

Together with their members Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust manage their nature reserves, run conservation projects, deliver environmental education activities and provide thousands of volunteering opportunities each year.

ERF - Spotlight On

The Economic Recovery Fund (ERF) ran between February 2021 and April 2025. It was a unique, innovative grant fund that aims to support local economic recovery in local high streets by empowering local groups of businesses to implement changes themselves.
