Sean Clarke - High Street Business Advisor

Everyone here at Business Sheffield is fully committed to helping every local business succeed, but several members of our team fully specialise in helping High Street businesses, and a recent addition to our High Street team is the always helpful, Sean Clarke!

Sean’s early career saw him jetting off on lots of sunny holidays as a travel agent and he was always keen to test out the top resorts on behalf of his customers, what a guy! Eventually he got tired of all those sun-drenched cocktails and moved into teaching, becoming a Tourism Course Leader & Advanced Teacher at Barnsley College for over 15 years.

For 2013 to 2024 Sean ran his own successful business here in Sheffield, selling loads of delicious Real Ales and Craft Beers as co-owner of the very popular, Beer Central, based down at The Moor Market. Having sold that business in late 2024, he now works full time within the Business Sheffield team.

Sean’s a great communicator and is always happy to help and share his valuable experience with anyone who’ll listen!
