Winter Glow- The Concert

Two of Sheffield’s leading musical ensembles Steel City Voices & Unite the Union Brass Band will come together this November for a special collaborative concert celebrating the city’s extraordinary home-grown musical talent. The concert brings together two very different musical traditions: the close-harmony energy and precision of championship a cappella singing and the power, warmth and brilliance of one of Sheffield’s foremost brass bands.

While both groups regularly perform and compete at the highest level nationally, Winter Glow offers a rare opportunity to hear them together in their home city. The programme will include seasonal favourites alongside music showcasing the distinctive sound and character of each ensemble.
