Midland Players are proud to present their third Terry Pratchett® play adapted by Stephen Briggs - Monstrous Regiment.
With a new set of characters and a different setting, you'll enjoy this visit to Pratchett's Discworld® whether or not you've seen the previous plays.
It began as a sudden strange fancy... Polly Perks had to become a boy in a hurry. Cutting off her hair and wearing trousers was easy. Learning to fart and belch in public and walk like an ape took more time...
Now she's enlisted in the army and searching for her brother. But there's a war on, and whatever everyone says, their side is coming off worse.
Polly and her fellow recruits are suddenly in the thick of it, without any training, and the enemy is hunting them. All they have on their side is the most artful sergeant in the army, a vampire with a lust for coffee, and a readiness to fight dirty.
As they take the war to the heart of the enemy, they’ll have to use all the resources of the Monstrous Regiment.
Suggested age 14+ due to the nature of the subject matter, but younger children welcome at parental discretion.
£13 (£10 concessions)
