John T. Gast

John T. Gast’s output has been distributed through numerous releases; documented under various aliases. Focused on the visceral physicality of sound and its capacities to engulf and subvert, Gast’s projects include collaborations with Serafina Steer and Aase Nielsen & Copeland & Gast (with Lolina). He has released on labels like Blackest Ever Black, Planet Mu and Haunter Records. Recent productions orientate around the self-run label 5 GATE TEMPLE, which serves as a beacon in the fog for sounds akin.

Abena

MCR based mega DJ and NTS Resident. We first came aross Abena as a founding member of “All Hands on Deck” and have been captivated by their ear for heavy and highly danceable dub-informed dance music every since. Expect spacious, weighty, rhythmic dance music, blended with steely precision.

Ashley Holmes 

Sheffield based multi-displenary artist Ashley is a resident on NTS Radio and has hosted Tough Matter, a monthly show of experimental music and sound since 2017. He facilitates Open Deck, a series of gatherings started in 2018 giving space to collectively listen and hold discursive space around embodied knowledges and relationships to music, sound, memory and oral histories. Ash is no stranger to the Gut Level DJ booth, it’s always a treat to listen to his selections.

Cáit

Cáit is a well established name amongst some of the most acclaimed parties across Ireland and Europe. From Jigsaw to Sherkin Island to Cocktail D’Amore, De School and regular appearances at Adonis, Cáit is one of the most exciting and engaging selectors gracing our dancefloors.

The high energy she brings to the decks translates onto dancefloors big and small. Her selections are sentimental, while always forward thinking; blurring the lines between past and present in thrilling ways. With a penchant for the rolling, hypnotic and freaky elements found across multiple genres and eras of dance music. Cáit’s sets are highly regarded for their fun atmosphere, as well as for their sensitivity and attunement to dancers.

HTMLJONES / ish99ni

Bringing the suitably maximalist sound of the capitals underground to Gut Level is NE London's own Ishaani Ponniah AKA htmljones AKA ish99ni, a rapper-singer-talkshow host and all round genius. Some are already calling her debut album The Melancholy of Ishaani Aitchteimelle "the sound of the summer" with shades of hyperpop, drill and UK garage producing a beautiful electronic kelidoscope of highly-danceable sound.

KATZ WITH A K

Sheffield scene mainstay and boom-bap bad-boy KATZ WITH A K will make sure you don't leave the leave diappointed. Following up his 2025 album "The Fixer" with a sound system-ready collab with Kulture "Hundred and One", he's only going from strength-to-strength, and will be coming to weave some words into pure magic.

ALYSBESTOS

Gut Level barfly and one half of the Vanity Projects team, ALYSBESTOS will be completing her annual ritual of playing the Gut level Tramlines Sunday in order to remain youthful for another year. Expect a short sharp set of noisey electronic pop.

DJ GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE

Another half of the Vanity Projects team! Since emerging from the Flaw Collective DJ school of hot babes, she's been bringing her genre-spanning mixes of girly noise to Sheffield's dancefloors.
