Over the past year, Under The Wire has built something truly special with the support of many friends and musicians, establishing itself as Sheffield's only live music community.
What began as a weekly open mic night at The Porter Cottage has grown into a thriving organisation, hosting events at Sheffield Food Festival, Leopold Square and the Sharrow Vale Spring Market.
In recent months, Under The Wire has also expanded into artist booking, connecting musicians from its events and Sheffield's grassroots music scene with opportunities to perform at restaurants, pubs and private events.
To celebrate its first anniversary, Under The Wire is hosting a special event on Sunday 25 October at The Church House in Sheffield city centre. The day will feature a packed programme of live music, including solo performers, bands and open jam sessions.
Visitors can enjoy a day of free live music at one of Sheffield's leading independent music venues. The event begins at 2:30pm and is expected to finish at approximately 10:30pm.
