Bringing competitive cycling back to the streets of Sheffield's city centre, Sheffield Grand Prix returns on Wednesday 22July 2026.
The event, now in it’s 12th year will again be part of the British Cycling National Circuit Race Series and will attract the UK’s top teams and riders to race around a new reworked 1.4km circuit, which was first used in 2023, with additional event activity focused on the Peace Gardens and surrounding area.
The Sheffield Grand Prix circuit will open to the public before racing starts to give everyone the chance to cycle round, traffic free. Rock up & ride, scoot or wheel your way round the pro-circuit with Olympic champion and South Yorkshire’s Active Travel Commissioner, Ed Clancy OBE. To ride, participants should register their details at the British Cycling gazebo, outside the Town Hall on race day from 4:00pm.
