Martin Gorman will bring everyone up to date with exciting developments at the Sheffield Castle site

Martin Gorman is the Chair of Friends of Sheffield Castle. He was born in Sheffield and has lived here all his life, having had a career in financial services. Martin and his colleagues are keen to see the remains and stories of the Castle’s history brought to life as part of the current plans to re-develop the Castle site.

This is a visual talk telling the history of the site of Sheffield Castle and its ultimate demise, the archaeological investigations over the last c100 years, the key people involved through time, and the up to date plans for the future of the Castle site.
