Reglines @ Alder

24 Jul 2026 17:00 - 01:30

Reglines Friday kicks off the Fringe at Tramlines weekend at Alder, Kelham, bringing together a full evening of DIY bands, off-kilter pop, indie and late-night dance-punk. Presented by Private Regcords, the free entry event takes place on Friday 24 July 2026 and features a packed line-up of Bedworm, Troutflies, Speedway Star, Clive, Elwell, Vehicle, Normal Village, Kiosk and Bathing Suits. Attendees able to RSVP for a free ticket.

The evening opens with the more homespun and intimate side of the line-up, moving through fuzzy lo-fi, strange experimental indie and twangy alt-country before gradually building into heavier, more chaotic guitar music. Bedworm bring woozy slowcore textures and cassette-warm melancholy, while Troutflies add a weirder, more surreal indie edge. Speedway Star then leans into alt-country and heartfelt guitar song writing, giving the early part of the night a loose, reflective feel.

From there, the energy starts to sharpen. Clive bring an abrasive mix of emo, math rock and post-punk, followed by elwell, whose Leeds indie sound pulls from 90s emo and scrappy 2000s guitar bands. Vehicle continue the shift with jangly, art-rock inspired pop songs about burnout, cultural exhaustion and the strange feeling of trying to make something bright out of being completely knackered.

As the night moves, the line-up becomes bigger & bigger, louder and more physical. Normal Village performing for their second time at Alder, bringing a frantic math-rock/post-punk sound, full of sudden turns, fun riffs and loads of momentum.

Kiosk push things further towards the dancefloor with darkwave synths, drum machines and dance-punk sound. A late-night atmosphere that will give you that much needed dance that you have been craving since the sun has come up.

Closing the night is Bathing Suits. An electro-noise and dancey sound should bring the whole thing to a climatic finish. Expect queues for this one so you might want to get down early!

Across the full bill, Reglines' Friday feels like a showcase of the Private Regcords world at its full best: Reg & Danny have worked super hard on this one and it has turned out more epic than we could ever imagine. DIY but playful, noisy & emotional, weird around the edges but built for people who want to stumble into something exciting during Tramlines weekend.

And was it mentioned, its absolutely free? Yes, free!
