Come along, settle in, and be part of the start of something special. Kicking off this new event is Monqi.

Through delicate poetry, Monqi invites you to explore her surreal and introspective world. Her work, at its heart, radiates a warmth that is uplifting, melancholic and calming all at once.

Monqi has earned herself a beloved reputation in the Sheffield music scene, with her unique indie-alternative style that weaves intimate folk elements with full band arrangements.

Her recognisable sound combines richly textured instrumentals with haunting melodies, to stir emotion and create soft spaces for deep and fluctuating moods.

At its heart, her music radiates a warmth that is uplifting, melancholic and calming all at once. Fresh from captivating shows at Alder, Cafe No. 9, and Delicious Clam, and Shakespeares, she continues to make her mark on the city as one to watch. 

Lucy Knight is an alternative indie folk artist inspired by the likes of Haley Heynderickx and Alice Phoebe Lou. Having spent the summer crafting sounds of delicate whimsy alongside producer Javier Barrios, Lucy's pockets are filled with dreamy tones and intimate stories.
