Four exceptional artists—Anna Anise, Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, Satnam Galsian and Maddie Morris—combine for an evening of live music inspired by a groundbreaking five-year research project exploring access to folk singing in England.

Presented by Sound Roots and supported by Access Folk at the University of Sheffield, this special event brings research and creativity together through songs, reflections and musical responses. Drawing on the project’s findings, each artist offers a distinctive perspective on belonging, participation and evolving folk singing traditions

An inspiring and thought-provoking night of music, conversation and connection, celebrating the many voices that make up England’s folk landscape.

This event is preceded by activities celebrating the Access Folk project, so doors will open early – more details will be provided nearer the time.
