Martin Stephenson Live at The Samuel Worth Chapel
Martin Stephenson's career began on the streets, busking as a teenager inspired by artists such as The Cure and the vibrant Brighton music scene. What followed was a remarkable musical journey spanning four decades, blending influences from jazz and country to skiffle and reggae, all delivered with warmth, humour and a deep connection to his roots.
With The Daintees, he found early acclaim and shared stages with artists including Aztec Camera, The Bluebells and John Martyn. Later, he stepped away from the mainstream music industry to pursue an independent path, creating a rich catalogue of self-financed albums and building a loyal audience through his captivating live performances.
This special event, part concert and part storytelling session, promises a heartfelt and soulful evening filled with reflection, melody and musical surprises from one of Britain's most enduring and endearing talents.
