LOCAL w/ LOOPS

The LOCAL series supports local collectives in delivering club events by reducing financial risk, helping to ensure DJs are fairly paid while keeping ticket prices accessible. The initiative aims to create a more sustainable pathway for emerging promoters and DJs in Sheffield. Ticket purchases directly support the local music community, with profits shared between the promoters and the venue.

Loops at Plot 22

Loops brings its distinctive approach to Plot 22, focusing on stripped-back rhythms, hypnotic grooves and carefully crafted selections. The event features long-format, all-vinyl DJ sets designed for the dancefloor, making full use of one of Sheffield’s most intimate sound systems.

Rather than adhering to strict genre boundaries, resident DJs GrowMore and Micallef explore the space between records, embracing the moments where tracks blend and transform into something entirely new and unique to the room. Audiences can expect heavyweight bass, subtle textural shifts and rolling energy from start to finish.

Safer Spaces

Plot 22 operates a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination and harassment. Anyone found to be in breach of this policy will be asked to leave the venue.

Live in the Moment

To encourage full engagement with the music and atmosphere, phones are not permitted on the dancefloor. Attendees will be provided with a sticker to cover their camera, creating a space where people can dance freely without distraction.
