Lisa Friend (flute), accompanied by Trio partners Martin Radford (cello) and Mark Kinkaid (piano) return with a fresh, carefully crafted programme of popular and attractive classical, film and song music, that should appeal to all.
Lisa performs internationally as a soloist, is a masterclass educator and recording artist and is regularly broadcast on radio, both in the UK and abroad. In live performance her intimate connection with her audience creates a special atmosphere.
The Trio's wide ranging programme of lyrical and emotive music will include works by Von Weber and Hummel, Amy Beach: 'Invocation', a James Horner Medley featuring themes from 'Legends of the Fall', 'Braveheart' & 'Titanic', Debussy: 'Prélude à l’Après-midi d’un Faune', Piazolla: 'Oblivion', themes from Bernstein 'Candide', alongside works from Lisa's new album 'An American Affair', which was released in 2025 to glowing critical acclaim.
