For New Year’s Eve, Johnny Nelson’s SoulTrain is stepping up from Sunday session to full black-tie gala. The same warm Sheffield crowd. The same music that gets people out of their seats. This time, there’s a welcome drink, premium Caribbean food, a private bar and a midnight countdown before the party carries on until 2am.
Come dressed up. Don’t expect to stay seated.
Dinner first. SoulTrain after dark.
Doors open at 7pm, giving you time to arrive, find your table and start the night with a welcome drink.
At 8pm, there will be a premium Caribbean buffet. This is the part of the evening for good food, proper conversation and deciding who at the table will be first onto the dance floor.
At 10pm, the chairs move back and Midnight Soultrain takes over. DJ Chunky will work through a funky mix of soulful grooves, the records that need only a few opening notes before the whole room knows what’s coming.
At 11:55pm, it's everyone together for the final countdown of 2026.
Then there’s no rush for coats. The first dance floor of 2027 stays open until 2am.
DoubleTree will take care of the welcome, the food and the details. SoulTrain will take care of the dancefloor.
Bring the whole table Some nights are better when everyone is in. Tables of ten are available, so you can bring your favourite people together for the full evening, from the first drink and Caribbean buffet to the midnight countdown and final record.
Tickets are £75 per person.
If you’re staying until the last song, make the journey home a short one.
Ticket holders receive 15% off Bed & Breakfast at the hotel, subject to availability and booking conditions. Your accommodation booking details will be sent after your event tickets are confirmed.
At 2am, take the lift to bed. On the first morning of 2027, breakfast will be waiting downstairs.
