World-class strongman and strongwoman athletes to compete side-by-side at summit of strength in Rotherham.
Some of the strongest athletes on the planet will descend on South Yorkshire this September as Global Strongman presents Summit of Strength at Magna Science Adventure Centre.
Taking place on Saturday 26 September 2026, the ground-breaking event will see 20 elite athletes – 10 men and 10 women from across the UK and around the world – compete in the same events for an equal prize purse.
Hosted in Magna's iconic Big Hall, Summit of Strength is expected to attract strength sport fans from across Britain and beyond for an exclusive live-only experience, with no livestream or broadcast available.
The athlete line-up includes:
Athletes will face five brutal tests of strength designed to push competitors to their limits, with men and women competing under the same format throughout the contest.
Organisers believe the event represents a significant step forward for strength sports by showcasing male and female athletes equally on one stage.
With capacity limited to just 1,000 spectators, fans will experience the action closer than ever before, creating an intense arena atmosphere unlike larger stadium events.
