Meadowhall is set to host Eid Street 6 - 7 June bringing a vibrant family-friendly celebration of culture, community and food to the centre.
The two-day event will be held outside Meadowhall’s Oasis Dining Quarter, with a lively line-up of street food, entertainment and an artisan market.
This year’s Eid Street will shine a spotlight different cultural expressions of Eid, with live musical performances across the two days including Middle Eastern Zaffa and Dabka, alongside an African drummer and more.
Visitors will be able to sample street food from a selection of traders, including Fargos FX serving Japanese steak sandos, Super Birria Bros with birria tacos and Cattle & Smoke with Texas-inspired smoked brisket. The line-up also includes Dutch Fishmen, Myos Japanese, The Brioche Team and Mocktail Girl.
Alongside the street food, the event will include an artisan market featuring jewellery, fragrances, arts, crafts and snacks, with stalls including Forest Out, Muskee, Lish LDN, Sweetpals and Kismet Fragrances.
Eid Street will run from 11am to 8pm on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June. The event is supported by Eid on Tour and The Halal Food Festival, and free tickets can be booked in advance online.
