Clamlines is back for The Fringe at Tramlines for another year, with real pearl of a line-up.

Thursday 23 July

Index For Working Musik
Fantastically inventive, stylishly strange, driving experimentalist post-punk straight outta the Capital City UK

Beau Mec
Manc scratchy layered hypnotic no-wave, from the DUDS school of thought, you dig?

Deathworms
Like someone announcing a platform change at a train station over the darker side of Flying Nun Records. Endlessly entertaining.

Friday 24 July

Sniffany & The Nits
Long overdue return from Gobnation legends, back playing shows and hitting up DC for incredibly the first time. Deranged, fast, potent and deadly, like a Honey Badger in band form.

Thumbuster
Somehow nearly 10 years to the day from their release of NO:P, these days scattered to all parts of the UK but reuniting to entertain with their chunky fun bops.

The TSG
DC always try to book Romeo Taylor for Clamlines but he never comes so they had to book his actual band to play instead to make sure he came. You know the drill!

Sister Wives
Legendary clam-dwelling poster leakers. We tried to describe them without using psychy/folky/welsh/harmony-laden/haunting but just couldn’t.

Saturday 25 July

Holiday Ghosts
We don’t get to see them much so we book them every year because they’re lovely and we’re friends with them and they have never released a bad record or written a dud song.

Lung Leg
Glaswegian OG iconic indie rockers feat. members of Lung Leg, Breakfast Muff, Water Machine, Franz Ferdinand. The best band from JT Soar Fest #1, a whole ton of fun.

Big Break
Unleashing the beast. Big Break 3.0 live and untamed on home soil for one night only, baby.

All Girls Arson Club
Manc/Sheff duo writing songs, singing songs, performing them live with charm, wit and no shortage of class.

Nadine Hurley
A music producer going “Bring it” while a really energetic singer holds you in the palm of her hand and will have you freaking out in the pit. Newcastle why-aye

Adam Hopper
The Wimp, without his other wimps. Stripped back beautiful ditties, from the latest in the Snake Pass Manchester-Sheffield migratory talent pipeline. Middle name ‘Space’, according to Clam toilet graffiti.
