Marcus Newton has been a private tour guide, in Sheffield, since 2013. He provides engaging, fun, and informative pre-bookable private guided walking tours of Sheffield City centre and the surrounding area. His 90 minute tours show you the best of old and new Sheffield and take you on a journey through 900 years of its history. Tours are available throughout the year, except in May and December. Morning tours begin at 10.30 am onwards and the latest finish time is 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday. Sunday tours operate from 11.30am to finish by 3.30pm. Tours start from outside the Crucible Theatre in Tudor Square. He also offers other tours around the Botanical Gardens quarter, Sharrow Vale, Crookes and Kelham Island. All 90 minute tours cost £20 per person (cash sales only), subject to availability. Large group tours, coach tour guiding and history talks are also catered for, so please contact me to discuss your requirements.
