Sheffield's Big Events and Festivals 2026

2026 promises another huge line-up of exciting events and festivals happening across Sheffield.

From large music festivals and international sporting events to food & drink celebrations, outdoor markets and lots of family fun!

See our guide below with a rundown of what's happening and get planning a 2026 weekend adventure in our Outdoor City.

2026 events

Pride of Yorkshire

A brand-new sculpture trail will be taking to the streets of South Yorkshire from Monday 8 June right through to Tuesday 8 September 2026, as the Pride of Yorkshire roars into life.

Kelham Pride 2026

This inclusive street party returns on Saturday 20 June and will once again be centred around multiple Kelham venues offering a broad range of entertainment from live musicians, DJs, drag queens, comedians and guest speakers. 

Bradfield Festival Of Music

A week of outstanding music in a magical setting, with music ranging from classical to film, jazz and beyond, there is something for everyone this year with artists keen to break down barriers and communicate in engaging new ways. 20 - 27 June 2026.

Migration Matters Festival 2026

Migration Matters Festival is a 9-day annual celebration of sanctuary, cultural identity and migration in Sheffield, taking place from 19 – 27 June.

Summer Holiday The Musical

Aboard a double decker bus, Don and his friends are on a fun-packed trip to Paris, The Alps, Italy and Greece, in search of a good time and a brilliant summer. On the way they encounter pop bands, runaway pops stars and of course holiday romance. 20 June - 18 July 2026.

Sheffield Armed Forces and Veterans Day 2026

Taking place on Saturday 20 June in Sheffield City Centre, Armed Forces and Veterans Day is an opportunity for everyone, young and old to join together to pay tribute to our armed forces past, present and future.

Sheffield Krazy Races

Krazy Races Arrives in Sheffield for the First Time! Get ready for an adrenaline-filled day as teams race downhill, navigating tight turns and racing to the finish line in front of thousands of spectators on Sunday 21 June 2026.

Sheffield Wine Week

Ready your corkscrews and decanters! Sheffield Wine Week, a five-day celebration of quality wine in the Steel City taking place from Wednesday 24th June to Sunday 28th June 2026, is back for its third year; including the return of their signature festival event: Wine Week Fest @ Bole Hills!

Round Sheffield Run - Summer Edition

Take on a unique trail running adventure through some of Sheffield’s best parks and green spaces, or simply soak up the atmosphere from the sidelines at Round Sheffield Run, 27 - 28 June 2026.

Higher Fields Festival 2026

Higher Fields Festival is a brand-new grassroots music and arts festival - launching Saturday 27 June 2026 on Randall Street in Sheffield’s S2. It brings together DIY musicians, artists, crews and communities from South Yorkshire and beyond.

Def Leppard

Crossed Wires: The Podcast Festival

The world's biggest podcast festival is back! Crossed Wires will once again be assembling the nation's top names in Sheffield, for one big weekend of special podcast events, Thursday 2 July - Sunday 5 July.

Chance To Dance Festival 2026

Chance to Dance is a one day city centre dance festival that was established in 2000. The festival is very popular, involving approximately 30 different dance groups on open ‘stages’ across the city centre on the 11 July 2026.

90s Fest & Summerbowl (2026)

The UK's biggest 90's festival returns to Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl once again, for a full weekend of nostalgic partying 11 -12 July 2026.

Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships 2026

The Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships are heading to Ponds Forge on the 16 - 22 July 2026 - with the talent of tomorrow celebrated in this key end-of-season meet.

Bassfest 2026

Bringing some of the biggest names in bass for another weekend of high-octane partying, Bassfest returns to Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl 18 - 19 July 2026.

Sheffield Grand Prix 2026

Bringing competitive cycling back to the streets of Sheffield's city centre, Sheffield Grand Prix returns on Wednesday 22 July 2026.

Sheffield by the Seaside 2026

Grab your buckets and spades as the seaside returns to Sheffield's Peace Gardens this summer, with a whole host of FREE family fun, 23 July - 29 August.

Tramlines 2026

Sheffield’s biggest party! Tramlines returns to Hillsborough Park for their 18th edition, across the weekend of 24 - 26 July.

Abbeydale Road Beer Festival 2026

Abbeydale Road Beer Festival returns for its 5th year, 30 July - 2 August, for 4 days of tap takeovers and beery heaven across 12 bars.

Rock N Roll Circus 2026

Expect the unexpected as the Rock N Roll Circus return's to Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl in 2026. Set to take place over the weekend of 27 - 33 August, the Rock N Roll Circus is where the best in musical talent meets the weird and wonderful world of the circus.

The Graves Park Food and Drink Festival 2026: A Summertime Feast

The Graves Park Food and Drink Festival is back for 2026! Celebrating all things food, drink, performing arts & live music. August Bank Holiday Weekend 29th - 31st, 2026.

Sheffield Fayre 2026

A fantastic day out for all of the family in one of Sheffield’s most wonderful parks, Sheffield Fayre returns on Bank Holiday Monday 31 August 2026.

Sheffield Half Pint Marathon

The Sheffield Half Pint Marathon returns in September 2026, celebrating beer, art, and Sheffield’s independent spirit. Explore pubs, taprooms, and bars while enjoying a special limited-edition beer and supporting Sheffield Mind. Runs from Tuesday 01 September to Wednesday 30 September 2026.

Art in the Gardens 2026

Taking place Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026 in Sheffield's stunning Botanical Gardens, Art in the Gardens is one of the largest outdoor art markets in the North of England, with artists, craft makers and visitors coming from across the UK.

Float Along Festival 2026

Float Along Festival returns to Sheffield on Saturday 26 September 2026 for its fifth edition, transforming the city centre into a multi‑venue celebration of post‑punk, psychedelic rock, indie and alternative music.

Off The Shelf Festival of Words 2026

Sheffield's annual festival celebrating books, words and ideas, is one of the UK’s largest literary festivals. Taking place 9 - 25 October, the festival will once again be bringing some of the biggest names in literary talent, media and the arts to South Yorkshire.

Westlife 25 - The Anniversary World Tour

Westlife, one of the biggest boy bands, play Utilita Arena Sheffield, on October 7 2026.

No Bounds 2026

No Bounds Festival returns to Sheffield from 9 -11 October 2026 for its ninth edition, transforming the city with another forward‑thinking weekend of music, art, technology and dance. Experience high‑energy performances, immersive installations and boundary‑pushing creativity across multiple unique venues.

Steel City Beer and Cider Festival 2026

Sheffield's original beer festival, celebrating its 50th year! Steel City Beer and Cider Festival is back at Kelham Island Museum 21 -24 October, with another massive selection of the best beer, cider and perry, plus live music and street food.
