2026 promises another huge line-up of exciting events and festivals happening across Sheffield.

From large music festivals and international sporting events to food & drink celebrations, outdoor markets and lots of family fun!

2026 events

ArtWorks Together International 2026

ArtWorks Together is an international festival based in Sheffield offering adult artists who have a learning disability, are autistic, or both, the opportunity to showcase their talents. The festival exhibition features shortlisted works by 70 artists from 21 countries.

The Ladies Football Club

Sheffield Theatres presents The Ladies Football Club, a new production inspired by real events during World War I, running 28 February - 28 March. As Sheffield’s women move from factory floors to the football pitch, they discover strength, solidarity and success until forces beyond their control threaten to end their remarkable journey.

Sheffield Beer Week 2026

Sheffield Beer Week returns 9–15 March 2026 with a citywide celebration of independent beer. This year’s festival embraces the ‘Sheffield Synth City’ theme, bringing together breweries, venues and music-inspired beery events across Sheffield.

Sheffield Adventure Film Festival 2026

Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF) is back for its 20th year on the weekend of 20 - 22 March, to showcase the world's best adventure, travel, and extreme sports films.

Kelham Jazz Festival 2026

A celebration of music through movement and community The festival is focused on championing Northern grassroots talent, alongside a selection of world-class artists.

The Climbing Works International Festival 2026

Every year one of the world's most prestigious route setters (Percy Bishton, who co-owns The Climbing Works) gives the elite boulderers of the world something to get their teeth into right here in The Outdoor City. This year's CWIF takes place 21 - 22 March.

Sheffield Half Marathon 2026

Taking place on Sunday 29 March, Sheffield Half Marathon is one the best attended in the country and most scenic too! Each year, the event attracts thousands of runners of all abilities to the city’s streets, raising many thousands of pounds for great causes.

YUNGBLUD at Sheffield Arena

YUNGBLUD brings his explosive new era home on Saturday 11 April 2025, kicking off the IDOLS UK Tour at Sheffield Arena.

World Snooker Championship Qualifiers 2026

The qualifiers for the 2026 World Snooker Championship take place from 6 -15 April at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield, where some of the finest cueists in the sport will battle for one of just 16 coveted spots at the iconic Crucible Theatre.

World Snooker Championship 2026

Professional snooker's most prestigious tournament and one of Sheffield’s biggest sporting events, the World Championship returns with 32 of snooker’s best players competing in a knockout style tournament, 18 April - 4 May. 

EccyFest IV

EccyFest is a celebration of real ale and independent bars along Ecclesall Road! Bringing beer lovers together 17 - 19 April, the festival will present a trail of great pubs, special beers and live atmosphere, with prizes to be won.

World Seniors Snooker Championship 2026

The World Seniors Snooker Championship returns in 2026 with many of the legends of yesteryear once again competing at the Crucible, 6 - 10 May.

Sheffield Cocktail Week 2026

Sheffield Cocktail Week returns from 1st - 10th May 2026, bringing 10 days of incredible cocktail experiences to the best venues across the city!

Sheffield Chamber Music Festival 2025

Join Music in the Round & Ensemble 360 for this year's festival Friday 15 – Saturday 23 May, as they welcome some of the world's finest musicians and stellar guest artists.

Get Together 2026

Now into its 6th year, Get Together festival returns to Kelham Island and Neepsend for another massive music takeover on Saturday 16 May.

Premier League Darts 2026

Premier League returns to Sheffield in 2026, as the Utilita Arena plays host to another night of top-class darting action.

Sheffield Food Festival 2026

One of the city's largest free to attend events for all the family, the festival is a bustling exhibition of Sheffield’s flourishing food & drink scene, with 90% of the traders taking part, based locally. This year's food festival takes place 23 - 25 May.

Sheffield DocFest 2026

The UK’s leading documentary festival and one of the world’s most influential markets for documentary projects, Sheffield Docfest returns 10 - 15 June 2026.

Pintstock

Taking pace on Saturday 13 June, Pintstock is a brand-new festival in Sheffield, serving top-tier craft beer with the best emerging indie talent, because great music deserves great pints.

Pride of Yorkshire

A brand-new sculpture trail will be taking to the streets of South Yorkshire from June right through to September 2026, as the Pride of Yorkshire roars into life.

Kelham Pride 2026

This inclusive street party returns on Saturday 20 June and will once again be centred around multiple Kelham venues offering a broad range of entertainment from live musicians, DJs, drag queens, comedians and guest speakers. 

Sheffield Krazy Races

Krazy Races Arrives in Sheffield for the First Time! Get ready for an adrenaline-filled day as teams race downhill, navigating tight turns and racing to the finish line in front of thousands of spectators!

Def Leppard

Def Leppard, one of the UK's biggest rock bands, play a home town gig at Utilita Arena Sheffield, on June 30 2026.

Crossed Wires: The Podcast Festival

The world's biggest podcast festival is back! Crossed Wires will once again be assembling the nation's top names in Sheffield, for one big weekend of special podcast events, Friday 3 July - Sunday 5 July.

90s Fest & Summerbowl (2026)

The UK's biggest 90's festival returns to Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl once again, for a full weekend of nostalgic partying 11 -12 July 2026. 

Tramlines 2026

Sheffield’s biggest party! Tramlines returns to Hillsborough Park for their 18th edition, across the weekend of 24 - 26 July.

Abbeydale Road Beer Festival 2026

Off The Shelf Festival of Words 2026

Sheffield's annual festival celebrating books, words and ideas, is one of the UK’s largest literary festivals. Taking place 9 - 25 October, the festival will once again be bringing some of the biggest names in literary talent, media and the arts to South Yorkshire.

No Bounds 2026

No Bounds Festival returns to Sheffield from 9 -11 October 2026 for its ninth edition, transforming the city with another forward‑thinking weekend of music, art, technology and dance. Steel City Beer and Cider Festival 2026

Sheffield's original beer festival, celebrating its 50th year! Steel City Beer and Cider Festival is back at Kelham Island Museum 21 -24 October, with another massive selection of the best beer, cider and perry, plus live music and street food.

Sheffield Powerlifting Championships V
