Business Sheffield Pop-Up Store

Applications are now open for Sheffield makers, creatives and independent businesses to be part of our next Business Sheffield Pop-Up Store.

Following last year’s successful Pop-Up Store, which welcomed more than 8,000 visitors and supported 31 local businesses, we’re bringing it back for Christmas 2026.

This Christmas, we’re giving selected businesses free retail space to bring their products to the high street. Showcase and sell what you make, meet new customers and experience selling from a physical shop.

What’s it all about?

The Business Sheffield Pop-Up Store celebrates Sheffield’s independent spirit, bringing together early-stage makers and creative businesses to showcase and sell their products. The Pop-Up Store is delivered by Business Sheffield and funded by the Gainshare fund.

For some of the businesses taking part, this could be their first experience of selling from a physical retail space. It gives makers who don’t have their own premises the chance to test their products in a real shop environment, meet new customers and see what having a retail space could be like.

And that’s where shoppers come in.

By visiting the Pop-Up Store, you can discover handmade gifts, sustainable products and unique finds for the festive season, while supporting Sheffield’s emerging makers and small businesses.

You might even discover a local business at the very start of its journey.
