13 - 19 March 2017
Sheffield Beer Week happens across the whole of the city in multiple venues in the second week of March and celebrates the region's extensive brewing landscape.
Sunday 9 April, Sheffield City Centre
A major event in the UK's running calendar, attracting thousands of runners and spectators to the city's streets.
15 Apr - 1 May, Crucible Theatre
2017 marks 40 years since the championships were first held at the iconic Crucible theatre. Expect a programme of commemorative activity to celebrate this.
7 - 11 June
RHS have teamed up with the prestigious Chatsworth House to launch a new annual RHS Flower Show , which will take place across the beautiful 1,000-acre parkland of the Duke of Devonshire’s 300-year-old home.
17 -19 March, various venues
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural weekender, the 2017 edition promises to be a weekend of epic proportions with something for everyone.
Sunday 30 April Set to recreate some of the magic the Tour de France, which came to Sheffield back in 2014. The 2017 Tour de Yorkshire Route will see Stage 3 of the race finish in Sheffield Fox Valley, Stocksbridge.
27 - 29 May
Now in its seventh year, the three-day event has developed into a fun, informative and delicious bank holiday weekend that’s perfect for the whole family.
9 - 14 June
Sheffield's international documentary festival Doc/Fest continues to be one of the city’s biggest events attracting over 32,700 festival goers each year, including over 3,500 industry delegates from over 60 countries.
