Attractions, Venues and Events

Following the Government’s advice re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) earlier this year, many event organisers and leisure venues had to cancel major events and close premises. We've removed events no longer taking place in 2020 from our listings and updated those with new information on our major events page:
http://www.welcometosheffield.co.uk/visit/events/major-events

Some events, due to take place later in the year, are awaiting info nearer the time before making any decisions. Check event and venues' own websites and social media for the most up to date information on cancellations and postponements.

Meanwhile, other events and festivals in the city are looking at new ways to deliver their event activity, using video meeting platforms and live streaming online. The city's cultural venues too, are keeping audiences engaged with lots of online activities. Sheffield Culture Hub is a new platform which has been set up to showcase all this actvity and keep the city's culture open: http://sheffieldculturehub.co.uk/

Visit Sheffield continue to share as much information as possible as it becomes available via Twitter and Facebook.
