Local children’s charity calls for Sheffield business support
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is encouraging businesses to make 2017 count by joining their 365 Business Club for just £1 a day.
The hospice, which is based in North Anston, provides care and support for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions; and their families.
Their work includes end of life care, short breaks, music therapy, counselling, sibling support, home visits and more. By pledging £365 a year in membership fees, you’ll be funding 14 sessions of day care for a child who is too ill to attend school.
The charity says that becoming a Bluebell Wood 365 Business Club member could help to raise your company profile, and engage your customers and staff. Corporate members enjoy benefits while supporting families during the toughest of times, including having the chance to make contacts at the members’ events and through the Facebook networking group. Members also have priority access to the charity’s upcoming events and sponsorship opportunities.
Majestic Publications is one of the members and its client services director, Jane Montague, says they count themselves lucky to be involved. “We have worked with Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice for the past ten years, and it’s an honour to be able to contribute to and support the amazing work that they do,” she said. “As a family, we were on the receiving end of hospice care, so we know how important their care is. Being part of Bluebell Wood’s 365 Business Club is a great way to give back and say thank you.”
